Louvre Museum Paris Reseñas
Great visit but some areas could be controlled better
Really beautiful museum, well laid out and helpful maps where given which was good for finding your way around such a big space. However, the viewing of the Mona Lisa needs to be regulated as it was just a free for all which came with a lot of pushin
choose some late hours with reserved tickets and pick up the must-see rooms
Great museum, but this was the second time we visited after a couple of years, and almost the whole 2 level was closed again. Also, at least 3/4 of the toilets were out of order, which caused some frustration with some thousands of visitors inside. A
Amazing Experience, Even For Those Who Consider Themselves Not Into Art
The Louvre is a must do when visiting Paris. I don’t consider myself an art lover or knowledgeable about art, however found this experience very enjoyable, and it gave me a greater appreciation. I loved it. I would highly recommend getting your
Crowed, chaotic and sweaty
Chaotic crowed and sweaty As an art historian i want to give my honest opinion: Terrible experience!! Of course rhe art is amazing and i would give that an 11 star on itself. But the Louvre is extremely busy and hot. It feels like walking on a festiv
More than an hour of delay in opening the Louvre
It is 29 sept 2025, it is 10.10 am, Louvre was supposed to be open ay 9.00 but it has not opened yet. Thousands of people waiting. Hard to feel happy when looking at Gioconda.
Overwhelmingly great collection
To point out the obvious, the Louvre is unbelievably huge. It may be possible to see everything in one trip, but it would take an incredible amount of mental and physical stamina to do so. I would recommend having a route in mind and knowing what you
Great art work
Great museum. Get there early is my top tip. We had 9am tickets and so could see all that we wanted to before huge crowds came in. There are plenty of stairs and not a lot of lifts (if they are working). The toilets at the entrance were ok. Once yo
The Louvre Museum, a journey through art and history
Visiting the Louvre Museum was a fascinating experience. From the moment we arrived, the iconic glass pyramid made us feel as if we were entering a unique place in the world. The museum is enormous, and each room amazes with masterpieces spanning fro
Great
My experience at the Louvre Museum in 2018 was smooth and enjoyable. Personally i was mostly interested in Da Vinci paintings. In this category you can find Mona Lisa The Virgin of the Rocks Saint John the Baptist La Belle Ferronnière The M
Terrible licensed tour guide
We purchased tickets on Louvre Website with a tour guide which turned out to be a terrible experience. Our tour in English was scheduled on September 4, 2025 at 15:00 with a licensed Louvre guide. After 15 minute long unnecessary presentation in th
Take your time to enjoy the history and many magnificent art pieces.
From the outside to everything inside, so much history and magnificent art pieces to enjoy to your heart’s content. Don’t rush it, take your time. They don’t overcharge you on refreshments and food like many establishments.
Great to see
I never realised how big the grounds were. We didn’t go inside due to it being so busy. Lots of nice seating areas around the grounds
Poor visitor service
For a world renowned museum, the actual service on the floor is quite poor. You are herded like cattle, required to show tickets at least 3 times + passport or driving licence,(multiple security checks which I can understand in today's world, but be
Mixed feelings about Paris and organisation
With the upcoming Olympics we expected disruption but nothing like this. Louvre has kept their queues moving which is great. Bur beware their cash machines are broken and their cafes can't accept cards. Rude and unhelpful staff who don't know what is
LARGER THAN LIFE
Museum overload and well worth. 3-4 hours is not enough time to see all. We did the self guided tour. We bought the tickets in advance, so we were able to skip the line inside. You are able to take as many videos and pictures as you like. Definitely
Louvre is no recommendation prior paranoid Olympics preparation
The organisation is terrible currently. The French government has blocked the entire CBD. Getting into the Louvre is disgusting. Plan to stand one hour in the sun to get in. Sometimes they preferred special groups and you have to wait even longer. Th
It’s the Louvre
We had tickets for the opening time so we were easily able to see some of the most famous works before it became overwhelmingly crowded about an hour later. It is a huge museum. I didn’t get a tour guide, but I think I would if I went again.
Worth the visit, but tiresome and becomes boring as so much and so much that’s similar
Another must see tourist attraction. Now they say you need 3.5 months to see everything here, if you stood in front of each object for 3 seconds. But, don’t let that put you off as a lot of the stuff they include in this are little fragments of po
Lovely museum
It was amazing! My favourites were Venus de Milo and Mona Lisa and I also really liked how it’s all setted because some of it is underground and there’s so much interesting stuff
Lost in translation
We've been here before, but it's so huge that there is always more to see, new and old exhibits. First, we made sure we saw the "must three," a) "Mona Lisa," b) "Venus de Milo," and c) "Coronation of Bonaparte.&quo
Paris Trip
Paris famous for Eiffel Tower, Louvre Museum....A city with wide roads, lots of greenery, separate lane for cyclists.....Very neat and clean city.......
Forget the Mona Lisa
Eye catching title and - not to be offensive - that room is so crowded that you get no "experience" at all. The good news is that there are many, many more exhibits worthy of your attention and for my part, the most amazing room - not seen
Chaos
Wouldn't bother really. Very long queues to get in. If it rains you will get very wet as there is no cover for the outside queues. The lobby is general mayhem. The arrangements they have in place to see the Mona Lisa are chaotic. You're funnelled in
famous museum
A museum made famous by film and media. But all the works inside were brought from outside France. historical artifacts brought here from other countries. It's as if they were gathered for different purposes. An attempt was made to give a touristic f

Crazy busy
I am a life long art and art teacher so I had the Louvre on my bucket list. We purchased our six day museum pass and went on a Friday. After the museum pass is purchased one must get a time and although I was two weeks out the earliest I could get wa
Works from everywhere except France
I visited the museum. But I was very disappointed. There is very little of the history of France. But all the works came from outside France. I didn't like this very much. History from outside France. and exhibiting it here and making money. make the
Amazing, but can't give it 5 stars due to the crowds
The art is truly exceptional, but the experience is diminished by how many people they let in the museum. We booked directly on the Louve website and they have an inexpensive tour add on option. That was totally worth it. The tour guide shows you
Mona Lisa
Was amazing as we got to skip the queues due to our reserved access. Went during the week so there was not a large queue near the Mona Lisa so was able to get to the front to take pictures with her writhing 5 minutes.
crowded
We were there in the off-season, and it was very crowded. The line to get to the Mona Lisa was crazy, and once you got to the front of the line, it is just a free for all at the front. It was so hot because the front of the line was not regulated. I
Quick and Easy Entry
We turned up without tickets and expected a long wait to gain entry. How pleased were we when in less than 10 minutes of joining the queue, we were past security and getting our tickets. We headed straight for the Mona Lisa, let's be honest that's wh
Definitely go with a tour guide
Very crowded, overwhelming, at least for me with no formal training in art. Would def recommend a tour guide to help you focus and appreciate just a few pieces (we used Babylon semi private tours)
A must see in Paris.
An incredible collection of the art from all over the world. Would highly recommend booking a time slot in advance to avoid the brutal line. Also try entering from the underground entrance to avoid some of the crowds. Spent 4 hours and still didn
Nothing but great things to say
Went in mid march a nice time to go a little lesss busy and the weather was perfect, loved the entire place, was busy due to spring break I believe but overall a must see

AT entonces notifica a usuarios experimentados que podrían ayudar.
Proceso paso a paso
