Aloette Restaurant Toronto Reseñas
Alotte is basically the café version of Alo.
It's even mentioned in the Michelin guide, and it's a great spot if you want to try French food in a more casual way. The food here is excellent--if you're looking to dip into real French cuisine, I'd definitely recommend this pla

Had brunch/lunch here and it was excellent! Great service and food. Next time we are in Toronto we would go back here! I had an eggs benedict with bacon, amazing fresh tomato with a browned butter hollandaise sauce! Yummy. My husband had a take on
Small, intimate & delicious
Aloette had an intimate atmosphere, short and sweet menu, everything we tried was delicious. And a good selection of wines. Had the steak tartar, burger with delicious fries, and brussel sprouts. Service was really friendly.
Not one of the better restaurants in TO
Not one of my favorite places that I have visited. Cold environment, not that great food and staff. Had the chicken and it was deep fried very basic. The lemon meringue pie was just ok, the best part was just the meringue.
Fabulous upscale French influenced diner
Upscale, beautifully designed diner with an international menu with French influences. Excellent lobster ‘roll’, fried chicken, salads and lemon meringue pie (we shared between 4 - it was ample!), great service too. A top notch experience for
Aloette is Michelin-recommended and honestly.
.. yeah, I get it. This place was incredible. I showed up right in that awkward in-between spot during the brunch-to-dinner shift, so I kept it simple and ordered off the brunch menu to make life easier for the kitchen. Ended up with the avocado toas

House made cheese bread with season butter to start the meal. Ordered the octopus capacio and beef tartare. Both were as good as any Michelin stars restaurant. Excellent food and vibrant atmosphere.
Aloette was an awesome brunch.
Another top spot from Chef Patrick Kriss, Aloette takes the look of a classic diner and adds some class. All the food we had was great and the service was excellent. We had; Chicken & Waffles - probably some of the best chicken and waffles w
This place is charming.
The leather bar top, the bartenders and servers, the overall ambiance. Devin was the person who took care of us the evening we came in. He was that perfect mix of professional, a little bit fun, and extremely intuitive. He was very much at the
Great fries, free bread and a very beefy burger.
I understand why it was rated best burger you'll ever have now. We came in thirty minutes before closing and I'm glad we were able to get a seat the bar. Very tiny and intimate place to be. Definitely a place worth visiting if you're i

... Fois gras parfait w/pear and pistachio...grilled lamb skewer, salsa verde, broccolini, pistachio and sesame...one of my best meals in a long time!!! Oh I hated their music but I am older
A Michelin starred casual diner downtown.
Went there for brunch. Excellent service and top notch food. The place is casual and not many tables inside but with an extended patio season can seat a few more outside. We had shakshuka, avocado toast and chicken on waffle for brunch and also a cre

Amazing food and great service! We got bar seating with reservation on a Thursday. Aloette is located on the ground floor. I much prefer this restaurant over alobar, it's slightly more casual and I enjoyed the food a lot more. It can get loud b
Fantastic food and service.
With reservation we were immediately accommodated . They let us know ahead how much time we would have. We had the Torched Hamachi Crudo to start and wow . Delicious. For mains we had Ricotta Agnolotti, West Cost Mussels and Grilled Sea Bream. Th
Prob our best meal in Toronto.
Made a reservation for a Friday night - they had limited availability online, but I was able to email their reservationist and get a table - and celebrated my anniversary here. They kicked things off with complimentary Prosecco, and it got even bette
Great vibe, great food
Great appie selections to share. Burgers were great with a side of fries to share. Loved the small size of this restaurant. Ultra clean visible kitchen. They were rocking 1990’s music making it a fun vibe - Jay-Z, LL Cool J. Good service. Boo
Delicious
Went to Aloette for my partner’s birthday and had an amazing experience. The food, service, and drinks were all fantastic! I highly recommend it for your next date night or dinner with friends.
Good venue, excellent burgers
Enjoyable meal, sitting at the bar. Excellent burger, good cocktails, dessert ok but not as good. Good service, fair value.
WHERES THE SHRIMP???, This place is a Shrimp Rip Off
The food is outstanding and service is also outstanding. But then they are charging $32 for a Dinner Sized Shrimp and Grits and it arrives the size of an Appetizer with THREE small shrimp sliced to look like 6 shrimp. I will never be back
Different...but in a good way
I decided to treat my nephew to a belated birthday/late lunch at this restaurant. He recommended this place as it had been on his list for a while. It is located on the first floor of the building, on the east side of Spadina, south of Queen. I c
Great lunch spot
Nice Sunday lunch with comfortable street side booths. The chefs and front of the house really care about quality and service. We enjoyed a few glasses of wine, Hamachi Crudo, cheeseburger, fries and lemon meringue pie All were prepared perfectly.
Go now and go often
Walked by multiple times and decided to go for lunch, turned into one of the best meals I had in Toronto. Started with tomato and mozzarrella, varied assortment of perfect heirloom tomatoes but with a unique dressing that elevated it above typical C
Amazing!!!
Love the atmosphere, causal yet services were top notch. I love the selection of food and would love to return. My fav. Was the the Foie Gras Parfait and the Iceberg Wedge.
Great recommendation from Jim G.
My family and I had a spectacular meal at Aloette. The service was top notch. The food was delicious. What they did with the Iceberg wedge topped with radish slices, roasted pine nuts and Parmesan cheese was amazing. The lemon meringue pie was the be
small, lively, delicious
small, lively and delicious. Friendly service, casual dress, bar seating and a handful of tables (won't be good for large parties). Nice looking place. Small food menu, all tapas style (small shareable portions), each was very good and I'd order ag
Upscale Diner
Excellent service and a great “upmarket” diner style Menu. Inventive dishes. Good wine list - including by the glass. Sat at the bar - great space for a couple.
Aloette - Overrated reviews can affect your expectations.
Unfortunately, this place is overrated. Various recipes are being tried, and I totally respect that. But what happens when the look and taste don't match in the same direction, and there is no harmonization? I will answer that in this review but let
Kitchen exceeds overall experience
It's hard to imagine a full-service restaurant occupying the tiny space that Aloette fills, and indeed its greatest shortcoming is the room itself. The front of house staff are well trained and attentive and the kitchen is strong, delivering well ex
Worst service I’ve ever had
Worst experience I’ve ever had at any restaurant, let alone a “Michelin recommended” restaurant. Walked in and was told I had to wait 1-1.5h so I did. Came back to check after over 1h but was only now told my seat isn’t guaranteed so go upsta
STAY FAR AWAY
My husband and I had tried to get reservations on many occasions. We tried to do a walk in. All to no avail. Several weeks ago I was browsing online and made reservations. The confirmation came to me by text. I responded. All was grand! Tonight as
Tiny restaurant and small menu, but respectable food
This restaurant does not have a lot of seating and is compact. We sat in a booth, but space was still tight. There's not a lot of food options on the menu, but the food that we ordered was pretty tasty. The burger was good as well as the brussel spro
Surely the noisiest restaurant in Toronto.
We had to shout to carry a conversation. Sadly we won't be back. To be fair, the food is better than average, sometimes very good. The foie gras was nothing special, however. They need a better supplier. As well, the young man who served the meal
Caters well for gluten free
Most of the menu could be gluten free! I had delicious trout along with such tasty squash - would recommend. We weren’t so keen at having to sit in a line along the bar with a draught from the door in this very cramped venue. The music was rather l
