Sushi Leblon Reviews
Racist manager?
The sushi was good, but the manager made our dinner unpleasant. I went with my boyfriend, the manager kind of threw the menu at our table and was super rude the entire time. We noticed she was being cordial and attentive to the tables right next to us, but for some reason, she was just extremely rude to us for no reason. We were the only people there who were not white by the way.
OK if you must have sushi
ok sushi for Rio but not highly recommended for sushi lovers. some interesting sauces and apps tho. São Paolo is the place for sushi.
Amazing food
One of the best sushi restaurants we have ever been to. The food is just simply amazing. Great atmosphere, great service
Would recommend
I enjoyed my dining experience here. We were able to sit at the sushi bar which was cool to see they chefs at work. We tried 2 apps (were just okay) and 4 sushi items (decent and one was amazing), had two beers and the total came to less than $75 USD. That’s hard to beat at a Michelin awarded restaurant. So while it wasn’t the best sushi I’ve ever had, I would recommend because it’s decent, has a cool vibe and seemed to have value compared to the US and other countries.
Amazing cocktails, half of the dishes looked great but lacked flavor.
We've visited this spot a few times over the years as Rio is a favorite location of ours. Although well presented, the tuna/salmon with crispy rice, tuna/salmon tacos, and tuna salad with crispy nori were bland at best. The vegetable tempura and spicy tuna in shiso dishes we had were very nice, but 50% of our order was just average. The cocktails were excellent. Worth going just for those. Choose your food wisely and you'll be OK.
Very good sushi, deserts, and drinks.
Get the ginger mango martini and the cheese ice cream.
This restaurant is ok for Brazil.
Especially for Rio. Maybe Sao Paulo would have better quality and authenticity. I was born in Rio and used to go there sometimes because it's one of the best in Rio. However it's overpriced and it is not the best in Rio. I am very picky when it comes to sushi because I have lived in Little Tokyo, Los Angeles, for 6 years. When in Rio try other type of food. Go to Botequim food and try pastel and Caipirinha. Don't bother eating Japanese food there.
Ambiance was great here.
We almost felt like we were back home somewhere in Atlanta eating sushi. Great service and food display was great. Sushi grade was ok, not the best, we can get better sushi in Atlanta. For Brazil, it's perfect. Our favorite dish was the shiitake mushrooms , that's a 5.5 star. It was cooked and seasoned perfectly. If you're looking for a change while visiting brazil, this is a great try. It's located in leblon - a more sophisticated area of Brazil. Quieter and cleaner neighborhood along the beach.
If you're in Rio and want sushi - you have to try Sushi
If you're in Rio and want sushi - you have to try Sushi Leblon. It's always been super trendy and it's still pretty lively. The restaurant was packed when we arrived for dinner. The service was on point and quick. The food didn't disappoint! I would go back just to people watch and have their mushroom dish!
It's a legit good sushi restaurant in RJ, where there is
It's a legit good sushi restaurant in RJ, where there is almost no good sushi. Vibe and service are great. It's not world class, but there isn't one afaik in RJ, so this will have to do. I eat sushi a lot more in the USA when I'm there but nice to have somewhere to get a good sushi meal when I'm RJ.

Let's say Peter has a great morning and decides to take his three friends to Sushi Leblon at 6 PM the same day.
He checks the restaurant's website and sees that no reservations are available. He then looks at the Sushi Leblon page on AppointmentTrader, but finds that there are no user postings either.
That's where the community-driven bid process comes in.
Peter can place a bid on AppointmentTrader, which serves as a reward for any community member who chooses to work on securing the reservation. AT then notifies experienced users who may be able to help.
Step-by-Step Process
1.) Setting a Reward (Bid)
* AppointmentTrader uses historical data to recommend a reasonable reward amount for securing a reservation - let's say $100.
* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $200.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* PerceptiveWash44, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's bid.
* PerceptiveWash44 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to PerceptiveWash44 for any questions Peter may have as PerceptiveWash44 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* PerceptiveWash44 now uses their connections at Sushi Leblon to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If PerceptiveWash44 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, PerceptiveWash44 receives the $200 reward which is credited to PerceptiveWash44's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at Sushi Leblon!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
