I'd been hearing great things about Spinasse and finally

4/5 by 👻 @Mirabel G. on 09/15/2025

I'd been hearing great things about Spinasse and finally gave it a try, and it mostly lived up to the hype. I went on a weekday evening and started with an espresso martini, which was excellent. We shared three pasta dishes (two half portions and one full), and the amount was just right. The flavors were rich and memorable, especially the butter and sage pasta--definitely a highlight. Overall, a very good experience, though I wouldn't call it perfect. Still, I'd happily come back to try more dishes. Solid 4 out of 5.

We came by around 5 PM on a Wednesday with no reservation

5/5 by 👻 @Steven N. on 09/11/2025

We came by around 5 PM on a Wednesday with no reservation and were seated after about a 20-minute wait, which wasn't bad at all! The service here is amazing--super attentive and friendly the whole time. We started with the four-appetizer tray. The prosciutto with melon and the salad were our favorites and definitely worth ordering. The hummus with corn and cucumber with goat cheese were just okay. One thing we really loved is that you can get half portions of pasta, which is perfect for trying different dishes. The ragu and butter & sage pasta were the standouts--so flavorful with incredible texture. The fine hand-cut pasta with pork and beef was the only one we'd probably skip next time. For drinks, the lavender gin cocktail was a hit, while the hibiscus vermouth was just alright. We ended with the baba al rhum. The mousse and nectarine were really good, but the rum flavor was a little strong for us. Overall, fantastic experience with amazing service and some seriously delicious pasta. Highly recommend checking this place out, especially if you're a pasta lover!

Was taken here by son and daughter-in-law for my husband's

5/5 by 👻 @Cheryl S. on 08/27/2025

Was taken here by son and daughter-in-law for my husband's 70th birthday. We got the menu option where you could taste everything on the menu. The four of us went away very full, and my son and husband have big appetites. We did order the broccoli and dessert extra above the $120 tasting menu. The food came out in good and rated speed where we didn't wait overly long but had enough time to digest a bit. Food was fresh and especially had newer combinations or flavors not found in traditional Italian restaurants. Nice waiter who kept my water glass filled and was attentive. We had a 5:30p reservation, and though we came early, they asked us to wait until 5:30p to be seated. One can go to the sister establishment adjacent and sit at the bar while waiting. Then they would come get you from the bar where you could carry your drink through the indoor breezeway into the restaurant and get seated. Nice staff. Seating felt fine; did not feel we were sitting on top of the next person. Loudness level was quieter to moderate. We didn't seem to have to scream to the person opposite us. Parking further away for free (a few blocks walk) or even across the street at the AME church lot are options. I'd say the average is $15 for the evening. Some were $4 to $5 per hour. If you like trying new dishes done well, I highly recommend this place!

I've heard such great things about Spinasse that I had to try it myself and it did not disappoint I went for an early week night dinner and ordered espresso martinis to start- sooo delicious! We got 3 pasta dishes to share (2 half order size and 1 full size) and it was more than enough. Every dish was so flavorful and I'm still thinking about the butter and sage pasta (this dish is a must). Can't wait to be back and try other dishes as well !! 10/10

By far the best pasta in Seattle.

I made the reservation several weeks in advance, but they do have some seating at the bar for walk-ins. I've been there several times this summer. All the pastas have been great. I especially enjoy the Tajarin dishes. The servers were very knowledgeable and attentive. It's very nice inside, definitely worth the visit.

went here on my birthday eve to celebrate and it was a nice

4/5 by 👻 @ThuyVy N. on 08/04/2025

went here on my birthday eve to celebrate and it was a nice spot, we had a reservation and came about 5 minutes early and were promptly seated. It's decorated pretty cute and cozy and I liked the vibe. The servers were very nice and told me happy birthday multiple times throughout the night - I don't think they gave us any complimentary things or anything for my bday (which is fine, had a great experience, just wanted to note for those who are curious). They want you to order everything all at once so they can serve in courses so we ordered everything at once with some help from the server about dishes we were stuck between. Overall I was happy with everything we got. I didn't care for the cocktail we got very much, wanted it more like fruity and refreshing but wasn't that --- just not the kind of flavor I personally like. The little anchovy complimentary bite we got was really good. We ordered the prosciutto di Parma and we were kinda confused bc they had half orders on their website but when we got to the restaurant you could only order the full size so that was a bit disappointing to us so one of those menus should probably be updated. The pastas were both good, I preferred the risotto as I felt like it had more flavor and more variety and that the ragu one didn't have much like variety of texture as I personally like (also totally get I got what it says on the menu, just my thoughts). The broccoli was good but I don't think it's like anything crazy, it's just good broccoli. The chocolate cake was really good, I thought a little too much of that cherry taste for me but I think that's just my personal preference of liking chocolate and nuts more. Overall it was really great and would def go back, would probs try the tamarin con burro and whatever their current seasonal dish is

Recently moved a friend to Seattle, so we've been eating

5/5 by 👻 @Huong N. on 07/29/2025

Recently moved a friend to Seattle, so we've been eating our way through the city and were able to get reservations at Spinasse. We arrived right on time for our reservation and seated immediately. Our waiter came by shortly after and walked us through the menu; you will have to order everything at once to help the kitchen, but that wasn't an issue for us. There was a gift from the kitchen, which was a crostini with butter and an anchovy on top. Perfect amount of savory/salty, and definitely a must try! Bread was brought to the table shortly after which was a nice surprise. For an appetizer, we got an order of the prosciutto di parma. The prosciutto is as sliced in house and topped with a melon-- absolutely delicious! We decided not to do the degustazione (which is essentially trying everything on the antipasto, primo and secondo) because it seemed like a lot of food! Instead, our party of four split two orders of the cavatelli which was absolutely divine. The sauce was savory, creamy and the short rib just melted. My friend and I split the lombatello (hanger steak with smoked eggplant-polenta frittele and salsa verde). The steak is more on the rare side (I don't remember the waiter asking how we wanted it prepared) but it was still delicious. The eggplant polenta was so good and probably my favorite thing of the night! The other two people in our party shared the Maiale brass to al latte (milk braised pork with herbs and pan-roasted semolina gnocco) and said it was absolutely fantastic. It looked like a huge portion of pork and polenta smothered in a creamy sauce. While it's not on the menu, there were four options for beer so if you are a beer drinker I would ask your waiter! I had the Sulla spiaggia which is a rum based cocktail. Would definitely get this again as it was the perfect balance of sweet and spice. We really enjoyed our time here, so I ended up only getting a photo of my drink and appetizer-- guess that's what happens when you have a great meal! Definitely will come back again!

Must Try

5/5 by 👻 @tb911 on 06/05/2025

We loved Spinasse! We stopped in on a Thursday, came here straight from the airport, specifically to try their tasting menu, which consists of one of every appetizer and main on the menu. (Only things not included are the sides and dessert.) Everything was amazing. I especially loved the pasta, but everything was very tasty and well executed. (Note, this is not thick and chewy pasta, rather it is light and delicate. Set your expectations accordingly.) The room is a bit small and crawded and a tad bit noisy, but nothing that isn't manageable. The service was fantastic, the staff were very friendly and helpful and courses came out at a reasonable pace. There is a parking garage and a parking lot near by, along with street parking.

Will not be back.

2/5 by 👻 @bonneylaketapps on 05/14/2025

Had high expectations for this place as it was recommended as the best pasta in Seattle. Pasta prices are at a premium but the quality is marginal. Yes, it is handmade pasta but the recipes are very basic. Other ingredients in the pasta were hard to find. Didn't get the main course. Dessert was ok. Wasn't happy with the greeting we received either. They are very abrupt and not accommodating at all. They said they'll seat me only when the whole party is present. There was no place to wait and I literally felt I was too close to the first table in the restaurant and was afraid I'd make the couple seated there too uncomfortable. Once at the table, we were told all orders must be placed at once. I didn't know whether I'd feel like having more than a pasta dish but had to limit myself to it because we had to place all orders at once. I was glad I didn't order the main course though because I wasn't impressed by the quality of either appetizers and or the pasta we ordered. There is nothing Piedmontese about their cuisine, contrary to their self advertising. Priced very high for what you get. Will not go back. There are much better Italian restaurants in Seattle where they are actually happy to see you and very accommodating.

Menù Speciale

4/5 by 👻 @JL on 02/20/2025

The owners added some magic to the evening when the menù degustazione was available with wine pairing. The visible kitchen gave the impressions of a cucina italiana di rustica and an intimate workshop [seeing through the inner wooden window still.] The latter was compelling as fresh ravioli is prepared with the cutter wheel (una rotella di taglio) as a final touch. Although, the seating was relatively quick when opting for the bar area, the wait time may take a bit considering the homemade culinary aspects. The prepping, bread, and brief chats with the wait staff helped with passing the time. The picture shows a special chicken dish from an earlier visit, but the effect is still the same.

Good food; loud for clients

3/5 by 👻 @iAmRobertJohansson on 01/13/2025

The restaurant met my expectations for a formal business setting. The food was well-prepared, and the service was efficient. However, the noise level occasionally made focused conversation challenging. For a more discreet meeting, a quieter setting might be preferable. The pricing is on the higher end, so it solidified the image of our company's success.

Years of great memories ruined in one visit

1/5 by 👻 @Laura P on 01/12/2025

My husband and I had one fave date night spot. Even after moving to the east side. It’s spinasse. 10 ish years ago while living in SLU we stumbled upon a little known restaurant and instantly felt at home. We became close with many servers and especially the incredible manager Angela. For years this was “our place”. After most of the service staff and Angela left, we continued to visit, abeit not as regularly, but often. We always received great service and incredible food. Unfortunately this Friday things changed. We arrived and despite the awkward greeting we’re SO happy to be there. (As inside note the host was incredible, kind and super friendly). Once sat, the server greeted us and was upset we were ok with tap water. I then asked about a staple appetizer that wasn’t on the listed menu but in the past we have been told to just ask about it. She rolled her eyes at me and said “we don’t do specials here, if it’s not on the menu it’s not on the menu”. We were so shocked as we’ve never received anything but a warm welcome at spinasse. This wasn’t it. We shrugged it off. (My husband later said it was hard to watch her be so rude to me over such a kindly asked innocent question). When the server came back to the table she spotted a bottle of wine we had brought in (something we have never done in the 10 plus years of being patrons) It was a gift from my boss and we were celebrating a big work milestone (none of which I even got to explain nor would they have cared). We had looked on the website and called and both sources informed us of a $40 corking fee which we were fine with. The server approached and aggressively said “ we serve that bottle here so you’ll have to pay the list price of $90”. I replied “omg I’m so sorry we had no idea you served it and we’ve never done this before. It was a gift from my boss and we are celebrating. I didn’t know”. She told us she would go get the wine director. The wine director came over with a wine list in her hand and slammed it down on the table and said “my server tells me you’ve already been made aware of our policy, thanks for understanding. Here the wine list, please make a selection and let us know.” We were honestly HUMILIATED. We were made to feel like criminals. We can afford any wine on the list but we’re trying to have a moment and the delivery was super harsh and terrible. Honestly, they could have delivered this msg in so many better ways. Again we were like “ok don’t let it ruin the night”. My husband was texting the babysitter to make sure they got the DoorDash for their dinner and the server comes over and rolls her eyes and laughs and says. “Wow I can see you’re trying to do some research. I’d be happy to send my sommelier over”. My husband replied that that’s not what we were looking at. Honestly at this point we’re done. We had been embarrassed, educated and shamed. We looked at each other and made the choice to leave. My husband said we should tell them why we were so upset. I said “no it’s Friday night they are busy and I don’t want to be a Karen. I will call on Monday and leave a voicemail letting them know we had a bad experience and if they want to chat about it they can call me back, if not cool.” We brokenheartedly went to another restaurant after hiring a sitter and driving 40 Mins for our used to be fave place. Today we received an email that was beyond rude. Once again chastising us for bringing in a bottle and telling us (after spending thousands of dollars over the years) DONT COME BACK. (See attached image). I was flabbergasted. Again to be clear about the bottle we called and consulted the website. Both told us no prob, $40 corking fee. But above and beyond the wine issue, the rudeness of the server pushed us to leave. I cannot believe the arrogance of this place. I’m so brokenhearted to leave this review because this was our home away from home for so many years. We will never go back.

Food good, service not good.

2/5 by 👻 @kimabicht on 12/09/2024

I guess no one from Spinasse is reading these reviews--because we also made reservations for a birthday celebration. A very special celebration (80) and this venue was highly recommended for exceptional food. Exceptional food is no excuse for treating people so poorly. Our reservation was for 5:30--we arrived early. They refused to seat us until 5:30. They shuffled us over to the corner to watch pasta dry. The table they sat us at was just sitting there waiting. We could have sat, had a drink, but no. We waited. Then they insisted we order everything at once, and they would bring it out. That's fine, understood. When ordering, the server insisted we weren't ordering enough pasta and told us to order more. We said we were fine. They sent extra pasta as a gift. That was nice. They also sent an extra dessert for the birthday. Then, abruptly, the manager came over and told us (at 8:30 p.m. mind you) that we needed to vacate the table, as they had other reservations coming in. They started clearing plates and glasses. They left my friend with bottled water and no glass to drink it out of. They didn't offer to box up the desserts we weren't finished with. When we didn't leave immediately, the manager came over again and basically said we had to leave. It was 8:30 p.m. on a Sunday night. We saw no other people coming in, no one waiting. It was the rudest behavior I have ever been treated to in an expensive joint. Looks like this is common for this place. There are so many other places in Seattle that appreciate the business and aren't pretentious about what they offer. This was my last meal at Spinasse, and I would not recommend it for any type of celebration. Here's a thought--if you have a table time limit--let people know in advance--and don't accept reservations for a birthday celebration if you're trying to turn tables.

I hate to leave a bad review but I unfortunately did not have a good experience. This was supposedly one of the best pastas in seattle but it was just okay. I might be too picky but I was expecting a lot (coming from LA/NYC) but definitely not worth the price. I think what bothered us the most was the service. We made a reservation and one of us took awhile because of parking. They just stood our party up when there were empty tables (can see from outside). We were told that the fourth person won't be able to sit down with us if we go ahead and sit down. What kind of policy is ..that? Go somewhere else please

4/5 by 👻 @Linda H. on 07/03/2024

We arrived on a Sunday around 6:30PM to no wait and was seated immediately! I was surprised because I was not able to get reservations when I checked a week prior (also put myself on the notify list). My coworker had recommended this place so I was looking forward to dining here. The star of the show was the tajarin con burro e salvia (fine hand-cut egg yolk pasta with cultured butter and sage) -- so simple yet so good and reminiscent of the pasta in Italy, I wanted more! I initially liked the tajarin al ragu (fine hand-cut egg yolk pasta with pork and beef ragù) but slowly got sick of it. Pasta portion sizes can be compared to a baseball and softball. It may look small when it first comes out, but the full portion is surprisingly big. We were given complementary bread with huge slices, biggest loaf of bread I've gotten at a restaurant. We unfortunately were not able to finish it but it was so good. I regret not using it to soak up the pasta sauce. Service was great as we were constantly checked in on. I also liked that we were able to see them make the pasta in house.

We have been wanting to dine here for awhile, but

4/5 by 👻 @Green A. on 06/22/2024

We have been wanting to dine here for awhile, but reservations are always so hard to find! We booked about a month in advance to finally try Spinasse. The interior is super romantic and trendy - it feels pretty intimate and cozy. The service was really good - our waitress was very kind and offered good suggestions! For appetizer, we got the sampler (antipasto misto), which was pretty fun to try 4 different appetizers. I really loved the hazelnut topped artichokes - I usually don't even like artichokes but the flavor was so interesting and hazelnut really complemented the dish well. We also liked the spring peas. The pork one somehow tasted like tuna salad - it was still good but interesting because we were sure it was tuna salad haha For the mains, we ordered half size of tajarin with butter & sage, half size of truffle risotto, and a full size of tajarin al ragu. That was probably too much food for 2 people oops! Spinasse has the reputation for having the best pasta so our expectations were high. I think both of the tajarins were very good, but they are almost too different from normal pasta that I can't even compare these to other pasta dishes I had. Normally, I like thicker pasta that are cooked al dente. These are egg noodles that are super soft and thin. They are still delicious, but I think if you're expecting traditional pasta, you may be surprised. I'm glad we got a half portion of the butter one because although it was super flavorful and creamy, it's quite heavy and decadent that it might be hard to eat a lot of. Our server recommended the risotto, and I normally never get the risotto, but decided to try here. I honestly loved it even more than the pasta! The truffle cream sauce and the egg yolk just created a perfectly creamy and umami flavor and the texture of the risotto was also on point! But honestly the best thing we had here that we keep talking about after months is their olive oil... Pro tip: ask for olive oil when they bring you complimentary bread! They don't bring it unless you ask for it, but when you do ask, they give you a really generous amount of olive oil and that. was. Amazing!! Even though we had so much other food, we had to finish all the bread to soak up that olive oil! Overall, this is a nice date night restaurant with great food, although definitely on the pricey side! I think you should come here for their unique dishes and not expecting traditional Italian pasta.

Went for my wife's birthday, meal and service were both top notch. Tajarin con burro e salvia was so light and delicious, and a type of pasta that we hadn't really had before. We booked an event this month for their private room.

5/5 by 👻 @Angel M. on 03/14/2024

Allison and Alex were absolutely phenomenal! They both were incredibly gracious, attentive, SPEEDY and informative. They went above and beyond, helped get everything we needed before the event and helped to keep it all running so smoothly! It was the most seamless experience I've ever had at a restaurant. I've traveled all over the US and not one other place has come close. This was a memorable experience, Allison is plenty resourceful and she worked so well with our florist in addition to our friends/family. Alex didn't let us forget a single item on our way out --even caught our attention when we forgot. We are so grateful to the staff.

Securing a reservation at this spot is quite challenging,

5/5 by 👻 @Chen S. on 03/11/2024

Securing a reservation at this spot is quite challenging, even with a one-month advance booking. However, the effort is absolutely worthwhile! All the noodles are meticulously handmade in-house, cut to hair-width, allowing them to absorb the sauce perfectly. The signature egg noodles boast a delightful buttery flavor, while my personal favorite is the ragu noodle. The fresh bread and tiramisu also complemented the experience beautifully.

We went for our anniversary and a delicious dinner! We

5/5 by 👻 @Grayson P. on 02/23/2024

We went for our anniversary and a delicious dinner! We tried: - Prosciutto di Parma: we had a half order which was delicious and just enough for two people to share. - Tajarin Con Burro E Salvia: SO GOOD and thehalf order was the perfect size considering we were ordering more food. - Agnolotti: My partner really enjoyed this and we also had a half order. - Braciola Di Maiale: the best pork chop I've had in a while, loved the veggies and sauce as well. - Zuppa Inglese: this resembled something like a lemon tiramisu, the perfect refreshing end to our meal. Overall, 5/5 for wonderful service, romantic and cozy ambiance, and the delicious meal! Would definitely recommend for a nice dinner with a small party.

The service is excellent, detailed, and thorough.

4/5 by 👻 @Abbi H. on 02/19/2024

Everyone is highly professional, giving it that extra class to the restaurant. The food is elegant, flavorful, and delicious - the smaller portions allow you to taste different dishes without being overly full. You're definitely paying for a finer dining experience so take your time here. The space is a little smaller, giving it a homier feeling so you can relax, socialize, and enjoy some fine food and wine. Note: It's expensive, so make sure you budget for a higher price point. It's also in the heart of Cap Hill, so make sure you give yourself extra buffer to find parking, if you're driving in the city.

My friend & I were seated at the lively bar on high stools.

3/5 by 👻 @Srae R. on 02/16/2024

A pretty server with glasses & short hair asked if we would like still or sparkling water. We said sparkling and she brought a big bottle of Italian mineral water. That felt deceptive, but whatever. We ordered an arugula salad to share and also a "large" pasta dish to share, which was $33. Server said "And what about your main course", as if it was mandatory to order more food. My pal then ordered some wine for us- I think because he felt obligated. Our food was delicious. As other reviews note, pasta portions are small. I could've easily eaten the "large" size by myself and still be hungry. I normally wouldn't bother leaving this review- the food was excellent and they should charge whatever amount- but the service was a little surprising, disappointing.

One of my favorite restaurants in Seattle - I just booked

5/5 by 👻 @Francis B. on 02/15/2024

One of my favorite restaurants in Seattle - I just booked another reservation for my upcoming birthday. I very much enjoy the setting/ambience. It isn't doing too much. The service has always been excellent, with a bit of an old school touch where you feel like you're having a worthwhile experience because the staff actually appreciates you (more than just for the $$ you will spend). The pasta is always fantastic and hits the spot. There are a few rotating seasonal dishes, so make sure to take advantage while they last! It may not or may not be the absolute best pasta dish in Seattle, but it is always my #1 recommended spot. It's great for date night too, but not exclusively. Just make sure you reserve your table well in advance.

So overpriced.

1/5 by 👻 @Stephanie S. on 01/30/2024

The food did not meet my expectations and was so expensive for a bad meal. I did the degustation course dinner. The antipasti/appetizers were good, nice and fresh. After that, everything went downhill. For the primo, we were taken aback when our server basically told us to eat the pasta quickly or else the butter would solidify while we were talking and trying to have a good time. So quickly trying to eat it, it really was just all butter and not nice to eat with the pasta so thin. The ragu pasta was slightly better but the meat was all mush and again the pasta is thin so overall the textures were not great. The cavatelli with duck confit tasted really strange with the mostarda that was so off putting and did not compliment the dish at all. Honestly, the mushroom risotto tasted like vomit and I love mushrooms and I love risotto and this was not it...For the secondi, the fish was burnt and bland - lacking any salt or seasoning. The rabbit meatballs did not taste nice at all and the pancetta ripiena pork was so dry and congealed it was so difficult to eat. Unfortunately, it was our anniversary and probably the worst meal we've ever had for it. Would not recommend.

Food is flavor and Spinesse provides flavors for foodies. Great evening.

5/5 by 👻 @Martin C on 12/04/2023

I am a foodie, cook, wine collector, and hard to please. During a brief visit to Seattle, I discovered Spinesse. This wonderful restaurant is a tough reservation to get, so hopefully you will plan in advance. They do allow walk-ins begining at 5:00. Their specialty is the pasta. This is a must when visiting Spinesse. I specifically suggest the Tajarin Con Burro E. Salvia first. Who knew that something so simple could be so enjoyable. Next, we moved on to the Tajarin Al Ragu, which adds both pork and beef to the Tajarin. Yum. Lastly, the Cavatelli Con Conit D'Anatra was wonderful, but it is a little light on the duck. We are here for the flavors, not to consume mass quantities. Recommended Dolci is the Panna Cotta, Vanilla: panna cotta with toasted walnut butter and grapes. The staff could not have been more pleasant as was the evening. I would recommend Spinesse and will return.

Birthday Dinner Ruined

3/5 by 👻 @diann119 on 09/01/2023

Spinasse was great until they asked us to leave. We were celebrating two birthdays and apparently exceeded our time allocation. It was the way the manager went about it that was humiliating. Rather than a gentle explanation she told me bluntly that we had exceeded our table time and to please leave as soon as possible. We were just about to get up and go anyway so such a shame she ruined our experience. Everything else was fine but why bother when Seattle has so many great restaurants with welcoming customer service?

Double Birthday Celebration

4/5 by 👻 @Diann M on 07/25/2023

We booked this restaurant to celebrate both my 26 year old daughter's birthday and my 62nd birthday tonight. We've been trying to get in at this restaurant for awhile. We had a lovely dinner and spent over $500. Food was good and service was good. Our reservation was at 6:45 and at 9:00, the hostess came to our table to tell us we had to leave as our reservation was over. As my daughter pointed out, we could have spent the night in an expensive Manhattan hotel for a night or flown to any US city for $500 and to have them tell us to leave was insulting. We eat out a lot in Seattle but we won't be returning to Spinasse where they clearly don't value their customers.

amazing lunch

5/5 by 👻 @Samantha on 07/23/2023

In terms of value, I must admit that the overall experience didn't quite justify the high price. Additionally, waiting almost a month for a reservation might not be worth the effort, considering there are other dining options available that offer better value for the price. While the food itself was excellent, the overall experience may not be worth the long wait and high cost.

Tajarin pasta to die for

5/5 by 👻 @Rosi on 04/08/2023

The only downside of this location is that it takes meticulous planning and a reservation a few weeks in advance if you want a specific date and a dinner time slot earlier than 8-9 pm. Otherwise, it was lovely to be back here. The flavors in the appetizer (kohlrabi salad marinated with anchovy vinaigrette, parmigiano and capers) were subtle and pleasant. The bread was absolutely delicious, although the breadsticks were a tad too dry, which led to a philosophical debate around why pasta and breadsticks always break in more than 1 spot. As for the main... as much as I wanted to be adventurous in my choice, the tajarin is just too darn good to be ignored. And I was glad I went with it - it is a proven recipe for pasta-induced happiness. My dessert of semifredo was expansive (one for the table to share would have easily sufficed) but I especially enjoyed the sesame cookies. Service was very attentive and contributed to the enjoyable evening. It was also fun to discover this place is connected at the hip to the neighboring Artusi. Will explore that next.

Best pasta I've ever had! While planning my trip I was going to go to Pink door but I was reading some reviews and people said Pink Door is a great ambiance and aesthetic but Spinasse has better food, so I chose Spinasse. We made a reservation ahead of time and got seated immediately upon arrival! It was sooooo good, we got the two most popular pastas, the thinly sliced ones that have been on their menu for over 15 years. It was delicious! Both were amazing in their own way, I'm glad we got both and shared! We both got the half plate. It was sooo delicate yet the thin strands were firm. So we'll flavored! The uovo poached egg was delicious with the bread too! Lastly, we got the Brussels sprouts which were well flavored in the sauce! It all felt well balanced and delicious. The service was great too! Very cozy place.

Probably the best Italian Food I have had in Washington State.

5/5 by 👻 @Wklstoywife on 03/12/2023

This is such a fantastic restaurant, such good food and drink. We were a party of four and had a reservation and were seated promptly at the correct time. We order drinks. Two of us ordered the Capella Romano, one paper plane and I don’t remember the other drink. My daughter is vegetarian so she ordered the pasta and Sage entrée and also a kale dish. Also an order of the risotto which was split between two of them. My husband and I ordered the risotto and split this which is a wonderful dish. And then I ordered the Barolo braised beef cheek. My husband ordered the duck leg. The only thing he wishes was it was a little crispier. The meal was fabulous, the food is stupendous. Our waiter Eric was fantastic and I would ask for him again. I will go back to this restaurant anytime I get the chance. But we live far away and don’t get there very often.

Service : 5/5Food: 3/5Ambiance: 4/5 Our server was very kind and knowledgeable, gave us a back story of the restaurant and the region of Italy represented. He gave an excellent wine recommendation, and offered fresh squeezed lemonade from the bar. Food - over hyped. We tried the full size butter sage pasta. Very butter forward and nasty after a couple bites , I sort of expected a better balance. The little sardine app was tasty, and the fresh baked bread had a nice crust to it. Dim lit ambiance with close seating for a nice date night or celebration.

If there is no user posting that fits your schedule, you can bid on your preferred time.

Let's say Peter has a great morning and decides to take his three friends to Spinasse Seattle at 6 PM the same day.

He checks the restaurant's website and sees that no reservations are available. He then looks at the Spinasse Seattle page on AppointmentTrader, but finds that there are no user postings either.

That's where the community-driven bid process comes in.

Peter can place a bid on AppointmentTrader, which serves as a reward for any community member who chooses to work on securing the reservation. AT then notifies experienced users who may be able to help.

Step-by-Step Process
1.) Setting a Reward (Bid)
* AppointmentTrader uses historical data to recommend a reasonable reward amount for securing a reservation - let's say $100.
* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $200.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.

2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* ImmortalStep65, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's bid.
* ImmortalStep65 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to ImmortalStep65 for any questions Peter may have as ImmortalStep65 user fills the bid.

3.) Finding the Reservation
* ImmortalStep65 now uses their connections at Spinasse Seattle to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If ImmortalStep65 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.

4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, ImmortalStep65 receives the $200 reward which is credited to ImmortalStep65's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at Spinasse Seattle!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
