Disappointing birthday booking from a restaurant with a previous good reputation (from a regular past customer)
Novikov has a reputation for good food which was maintained, however they have become very rutless in timekeeping and in fact in our case for a birthday dinner we were asked to leave even before we finished the celebrants birthday cake. Now this is despite the cake arriving quite late (waited with nothing in front of us for 15 minutes). I think it needs an overall manager overseeing the customer experience and noting such things. In fact regarding the birthday I had to remind the allocated waiter a few times despite blatantly stating birthday in the booking. I have been to Novikov a few times over the years and I can safely say the service is going down hill and the staff are being made to work ruthlessly to follow this obvious business objective.

The best in London by far, if you have not eaten from here you are missing out the food is extremely good and tasty. The vibe is great also
WALKED OUT
Booked Italian section, ordered cocktails, lobster, prawns, black cod etc and walked out before food arrived, after paying full bill of over £350 without consuming any food or accepting the takeaway offered. To appreciate good food, you need the correct environment. This place is a big room, with tables packed less that 2 feet from each other. Where we were seated was noisy, will a table with very young children close by, and we requested to be moved twice but our request was not accommodated to our satisfaction. So We paid the bill of over £ 350, gave a £ 20 tip to the server and went to JERU, the restaurant on the opposite side of the road. We will not visit Novikov again as we think it's just hype. If they are not prepared to accommodate our request to move twice, we will not patronise them and we dine out 3 to 4 times a week.
Italian dinner
We have tried the Italian restaurant, the food was great but small portions, the desserts can be better specially for the prices however the service and the experience were very nice!

Tasty, lively, energetic
Novikov is an all-time crossroad of excellent food, hi-class-service and a special vibe that makes you want more than just a dinner- doesn’t matter mediterranean or asian style. The last times I booked table in the the Italian part, where my favorite is lamb-shoulder or wagu-steak with some good red wine. The bar downstairs offers dj-music, cocktails and dancing, but worth booking in advance, especially on Fridays-Saturdays. Definitely a place-to-return again and again!
Faultless - amazing service and authentic Italian food
I cannot rave more about the Italian restaurant. Very pleasant and attentive staff and good quality and tasty food. Also probably the best peach Bellini in London!
A great place for good food but a bit pricey
We were a group of 7 and service was superb. The dishes were very well prepared, some of the best we have had. Wine selections were fantastic.
Amazing food
Novikov is undoubtedly my favorite restaurant in London, and I find myself returning time and again for its exceptional blend of sushi and Italian cuisine. The sushi is always fresh and expertly prepared, while the Italian dishes boast rich flavors and exquisite presentation. A standout menu item for me is the truffle pizza, which never fails to impress with its perfect balance of flavors. Beyond the culinary delights, NoviKov offers a grand atmosphere that enhances the dining experience, making each visit a memorable occasion.

A restaurant with just a name
A restaurant with just a name. The service at this restaurant leaves a lot to be desired, they forget the orders, they mix up the orders, they forgot to bring the drinks, in short, very misleading, the food is nothing special for a restaurant where you pay a lot for a very poor service. I don't recommend it to anyone as you will be disappointed.
Poor quality
We went for dinner on a special occasion, my husband's birthday. I asked to leave a message at dessert, and that didn't happen. Chaotic team, waited a long time for wine and dessert there. Poor dishes, normal pasta, nothing new. Too expensive for the quality of the dishes.
Good service
I went to Novikov for drinks with friends and had a great time. Unique cocktails and great atmosphere. I ended up leaving my phone at the table and didn't realise until we got to our next venue. Luckily, my friend had spoken with Nic and knew his name when we called to ask if it was still there. I went back to the lounge and Nic had my phone on him and I could verify it was mine. This was a huge lifesaver. Thank you, Nic!
Not too good
Had a special occasion at Novikov restaurant the food wasn’t the best and wasn’t really worth the value, the pasta with clams didn’t really have enough flavoir, plus the service was chaotic and mess, really not the best like you are expecting in a place like This, we left the restaurant disappointed
Cold Wagyu?
The team were very welcoming and cognisant that we had a child The ambience was very warm and classy, yet had a vibe to it. The transparent kitchen and seafoods bar on display gave it an exotic Asian vibe We ordered the chicken steamed buns, rich shrimp tempura and spicy tuna sushi rolls to begin with. The buns were light and well seasoned inside, tempura as crisp as glass, the sushi was average and tuna could have been tad more spicy. The mains we had wagyu sirloin and sweeter and sour chicken. The main event, the Wagyu had to be returned as it was cold. The replacement was just slightly warm but at that point we just wanted to eat. The sides became lukewarm waiting for the Wagyu. This was very disappointing and I hope the manager takes this on board. The chicken and egg fried rice was surprisingly good and moreish The total bill came to £254. Was it worth it? Perhaps not, seeing as £95 dish was underwhelming and had to be sent back. Overall 7/10
Emperors new clothes venue
Bad Experience for Valentines Day - Emperors new clothes venue. We really wanted to try this place and it was very disappointing. We had a drink downstairs first and it lacked atmosphere, the service was quite poor. We ate at the Italian and it was terrible, the service was bad, we had to wave to get anyone to serve us. Starters were “ok” beef carpaccio and tuna tartar, but it’s hard to mess this up in the kitchen. Lobster pasta which tasted sweet which was a bit bizarre, lobster was completely overcooked. Fillet steak which was cooked in little bits so was overdone and dry. No one asked us how our meal was, and we were hungry so ate it. I gave feedback at the end and we got given a shot 😂 absolutely ridiculous. Avoid!!!
Lacking
Really loved this place the food and service is really amazing however as time has gone on they're starting to miss the wow factor and prices hace increased immensely

Love this place! Seriously, it's a winner. From the hellos to the goodbyes, everything's just PERFECT!!!. Asian food is the bomb, and desserts? Pure joy. Service is top-notch. Big shoutout to the management – they deserve major credit.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Dan & Milan
The most amazing experience. There was a bit of confusion regrading the date of my birthday reservation, which wasn’t noticed, on my behalf, until the day of when I had already travelled down. I dealt with a member of staff called Dan who was extremely helpful and went out of his way to save my birthday dinner. My waiter for the night, Milan (I think his name was) he was impeccable. Thank you to them both.

...the bar is a good space to wait on table and you most likely will if you didn't have a reservation or know someone. There is an Italian side and a lounge downstairs to enjoy drinks after dinner. Def a must visit in London.

Went to Novikov to celebrate my best friends birthday. Had the lunch set menu . Lady at the desk looked at us as if we shouldn't be there . She was so rude , even though she looked like a cartoon character herself. Waiters were friendly, 1st course was great , but my main was extremely salty , they changed it but the replacement was just as bad . I was too embarrassed to send it back again so ate it . As we were leaving the receptionist had to get are coats and made a face holding my friends coat as it was not branded . She was making a face and barely touching it . I went home and vomited all evening. Wrote an email to the Italian restaurant in Novikov but never recieved acknowledgement or a response. Any class of person working to billionaire pay the same amount for the food so why were we made to feel like we didn't belong there
Bad food terrible service very noisy
The food was terrible sea food pizza that was somehow overcooked and soggy, The linguini was drenched in cheese and the service was very slow zero value for money.
Rude hostess
The food at Novikof Italian was excellent, the table service was excellent, but the hostess who seated us was rude and discriminatory.
Cool and trendy restaurant and cocktail bar
Kinda cool upmarket place where I felt rather too old and under dressed! We didn’t eat we just cruised by for a drink and got there just before the mad crowds as most tables downstairs were reserved (Saturday night)
We were fed non-halal version of steak!
Please be extra vigilant if you eat halal meat and double check you have received the correct dish before touching your food. We ordered the halal steak and we’re given the A5 Japanese Wagyu instead which is not halal, we didn’t realise this until we had paid our bill and looked at it at the end. We noticed that the steak was not correct on the bill and asked the waiters to double check we had been served the correct item. After a while the manager came back and told us that unfortunately they had messed up and given us the wrong piece of steak that wasn’t halal. We specified at the time of ordering that we only eat halal to the waiter but it seems that he had keyed in the wrong item on their till. We should have checked this but being in such a high class restaurant you would not expect them to make such a grave error, we were offered a refund of half of our bill and nothing else could be done apparently. We won’t be returning as we felt very sick after this experience but if you decide to go just be careful and double check you have the correct items of food.
Overpriced
Lovely ambience, but didn’t rate the food and all seemed a bit overpriced. Doubt I’ll revisit unless with a group of friends

Over priced, too crowded, too fast but staff friendly & nice food. Place is very large, staff are very polite and welcoming. It had a nice busy vibe but I dont get the style. I wouldnt say it felt luxurious, you are rushed to order although staff are very polite. The food was nice but doesnt warrant the price tag. If your happy for the price tag which is well into hundreds (easily) per head for 3 courses and drinks to say you have been to Novikov then this is your place, but feels like they cart you in and then cart you out. I'd rather spend the money and go elsewhere that treats you like a guest.
Delicious good every time.
Always fabulous. The salmon sushi with the hot cheese sauce on top is the one. Highly recommend this restaurant for their sushi, the dim sum and their delicious meat in the pan Asian section. Can’t wait to go back.

* Peter can now talk to BraveCloth47 for any questions Peter may have as BraveCloth47 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* BraveCloth47 now uses their connections at Novikov Restaurant and Bar London to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If BraveCloth47 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
