The ambiance is nice enough, but I left the restaurant still hungry, unfortunately. I ordered the prosciutto pizza, with arugula, fig, and goat cheese. I order this style of pizza all the time. But this one was smothered with fig jam in addition to the fig topping. It was a really unnecessary amount of fig flavor and made the middle of my pizza mushy. That aside, I started tasting something like dirt. I thought it was the arugula, that maybe it wasnt washed enough. But my friends and I started tasting each of the pizza toppings by themselves and realized it was the prosciutto! Ive never had meat that tasted like that. It had to have turned bad, because it tasted like dirt and mold somehow. Im praying I dont get sick tonight. They obviously took the pizza off our tab, but that doesnt help that I left the restaurant still hungry. Our wait staff was very kind but either forgetful or very slow. We asked for multiple things throughout the meal, like balsamic, more utensils, and a meal upgrade "bomba style," all of which never got to us. This was our second time at North Italia, but we wont be returning again.
This is a solid upscale Italian restaurant chain.
We came here for a function and had the private room in the back. The backroom has a monitor so it would suite anyone looking to have a group lunch/dinner conference. (Note: there's a minimum spend for this room) The servers were professional and friendly; it's good to have them recommend things on the menu. The kale salad was a meal on its own: apples, cheese, kale, cranberries, with a tangy sauce. So good! ($16) For pasta we tried the spicy squid ink tonnarelli ($25) I think we can leave out the hotness and just go with the regular tomato sauce. It had shrimp, squid, and the pasta was al dente. They have a good selection of pasta dishes at a reasonable price. We tried their scallops dish ($36). Scallops came on a bed of corn risotto. It was creamy and good. For dessert we had a big cup of cappuccino and tiramisu. Overall food and drinks were great, and waitress was very attentive throughout.

GREAT FOOD, SERVICE AND AMBIANCE IN DENVER ========================================== I made a reservation for a big group of ten on August 3, 2025 for dinner at this restaurant in Denver. My husband and I were on a road trip and on our way to Indianapolis. Denver was a great spot to stop considering I have a bunch of cousins there. I arranged with my cousins a few weeks before on the date and a few days before we decided on the restaurant. I am so glad my cousin recommended this restaurant. Everything was great from beginning to end except it is very loud inside and it was difficult to talk to my whole group. If you have a group of six or less this place is great. My husband and I were at one end, so we ended up getting up a couple times to go down and talk to our family members at the other end. FOOD: We absolutely loved the crispy eggplant parmesan small plates and ordered at least four of those to share with the table. The bruschetta was good. My husband isn't a prosciutto fan, so we told them to hold that. My husband and I shared a margherita pizza and little gem caesar salad and that was great. Everyone one else loved their dinners. NOTE: Apparently it's a chain, but I had never been to one before. They have restaurants in Canoga Park, Cerritos, Santa Monica, El Segundo, Torrance, Irvine , San Diego and many other places. This chain was founded by Sam Fox in 2002 and is currently owned by The Cheesecake Factory.
The good: the calamari and salads were excellent.
The calamari was fried nicely, crispy batter, good sauces. The salads had delicious dressings and were not over-dressed like so many restaurants do. The bad: while the pizza toppings were good, the crust was very under cooked. Gummy. Ruined the pizza. And the pasta was al dente. Ok, I know that al dente is the thing to do, but I just don't get it. I find pasta with a firm core to be hard to swallow. But that last is just me,I guess. Maybe, one day, like in fashion, al dent will go out of style.

Me and my cousins got some delivery last night and It was pretty good. It's definitely harder to have amazing food when you get delivery but they were honestly pretty good. This was my cousins second time getting north Italia and they said it was way better in person cause the servers were super fun and whimsical.

Great service for a very busy restaurant on a Thursday evening. Located in Cherry Creek, making parking a challenge, North Italia is a favorite for locals for their happy hour to 6pm. My party of six had reservations and after a short wait, we're seated in a booth (should have asked for table seating), not the most comfortable place for four large men. Drinks were on the pricey side, but for the locals, no biggie. The appetizers were all very good, calamari, burrata, and arancini, hit the spot. I ordered the chicken parm for my main course and I was disappointed by the thin, dry breast that was tough to cut and somewhat bland. The rest of my party ordered various pasta dishes and were happily satisfied. Just not my night for the chicken parm I guess. Overall, a nice experience, but menu prices on the high end.

The restaurant is in a pretty pricey area and the pricing on the menu reflect that. It is insane how much everything cost. Even their happy hour pricing is not impressive. The food portions are small and the taste is nothing impressive or over the top. It definitely is not worth the money. The environment is just like any other restaurant. It is a bit loud and just feels like a casual spot. The server we had was great though. They were extremely attentive and kind. The reason they are getting a one star overall though is because we left and got food poisoning which was an absolutely disappointing way to end the day of your engagement.

We loved North -- from the charcuterie board appetizer to the short ribs and cocktails. The server was friendly and attentive. Will definitely return on next trip to Denver.
3rd Lunch was still a pleasure
This is just a solid Italian place with often authentic roots compared to the usual Americanized Italian food you find elsewhere. Great salads, delicious pasta and a good wine selection. As other comments pointed out, the hostess staff lacks notably behind. Example: They seem to grant more importance to the waiters and their “sections” versus the desire of the customers which table to prefer!
Fabulous Denver Dinner in Cherry Creek
We had an incredibly great meal at this restaurant . The honey prosciutto pizza was soooo delicious. Also the kale salad with chicken was superb. Also we had the roasted salmon which also was so delicious. My wife and I sat at the bar with experiencing incredible service from the bar staff especially our bar tender and serverJustin. Justin was great and attentive. And the other bar tender,Jamie,was a great help too. This all was an A++++ experience.
Very unpleasant
We had reservations to celebrate my birthday. However, the staff were so unpleasant and unhelpful that we left and went to a more hospitable place.
Worst 16th Birthday experience and just when we thought it couldn't get worse: it did.
We have been going to North Italia since it opened in Cherry Creek North. Unfortunately, my daughter and her 8 friends had the worst experience. I wrote to customer service, and they issued a $50 gift voucher which DID NOT WORK when my daughter went back for dinner with her boyfriend. She had to use a credit card to pay for the meal instead, and I got no response from customer service when I wrote and mentioned this. So disappointing.
I can’t get enough of this place
I went to North for my birthday and was very happy with our meal. I haven’t been here in 5 years and I remember enjoying my meal but I didn’t remember the food. We tried a lot of yummy dishes, including the famous garlic bread with fresh ricotta cheese, the lightly tempura calamari that was light and tender, followed by the braised short ribs on mushroom risotto with a side of butternut squash polenta topped with caramelized onions and pine nuts and a side of crispy Brussel sprouts topped with raisins and pine nuts. For dessert we shared the seasonal butter cake. I didn’t like this dish at all. But everything else was amazing. Our server was great. She was attentive without being annoying in any way. I can’t wait to come back here.
Fun, good food, loud, vibrant, busy!
Got there right at 5:00 it was already crazy busy. Once you sit down and enjoy the food and service, you will know why. I sat in Alex section he had full command of end of the bar. Out came really good bread olive oil and balsamic vinegar. For main course I had the house specialty Bolognese. It was delightful along with the wine by the glass selection had a nice super Tuscan.
Monday night Dinner
Went to dinner here on a Monday night and found the restaurant was quite busy. Ended up sitting outside which actually turned out to be quite pleasant. We dined on the Truffle Garlic Bread, Calamari, 2 Simple Salads, a Chicken Parmesan and 2 Spicy Rigatoni Vodka dinners as well as multiple cocktails. The food and drinks were delicious. Very pleased with the entire evening...

My favorite Italian restaurant in Denver! It is one of the places I go to for special occasions. A little on the pricier side for me - not super pricey, but I spend a little more than I normally do here. All the pastas I have had are so tasty! I dream of their chicken pesto pasta, my favorite part being the fried capers. Other notable favorite is the spicy rigatoni pasta. Drinks here are also good! The restaurant itself also has a cool vibe and staff has always been friendly.
Our first time dining at North Italia and we won't be back.
Pros: Nice decor and vibe. Our server was very nice and professional. Cons: The food was lame. The arugula & avocado salad was bland. I added a chicken breast and it was cold and soggy. The Bolonaise was was also bland. The music was too loud.
Quality of food service and space rarely found.
Individually, much less in one place. The care for food quality and service is evident. Can't wait for my next visit.

Food very good, service excellent,BUT the NOISE is CRAZY, INSANELY LOUD!!! Almost "abusive." One cannot easily hear normal conversational tones. ( Isn't that one of the main objectives in dining out?).This is a Tuesday evening and the restaurant is jammed.... So while North historically a great CC restaurant, their present success is an overwhelming reason to avoid / skip this place,, unless of course if you enjoy shouting,,,sadly, a longtime customer,,,we won't be coming back,,,Bob

I'm glad they brought back the scallop risotto, but please... remove the very before serving it. Rookie move North!
Good food when it's made properly, but slow and unreliable.
Forgot 2 pizzas and also overcooked our salmon. This was after waiting an hour on DoorDash. Ruined our family dinner night with three little kids being very disappointed and hungry. Don't go here unless you've got the time and tolerance for inattention. Most of the dishes were actually very tasty. Do better before someone else comes along and just tries a little bit harder for their customers. Ordered $300 worth of stuff.

I regret to say that my recent experience at NORTH Cherry Creek left much to be desired. Upon arrival, my party and I were hopeful despite a moderate wait for a table. Little did we know, the real disappointment was yet to come. After being seated, we waited an agonizing 38 minutes for our food to arrive. To add insult to injury, every table seated after us seemed to receive their orders promptly within 15 minutes. When the manager came over he said our food was being plated and we waited another additional 7 min. now the wait was 45 min for our food. His response when he finaly brough over the food was utterly underwhelming. Instead of addressing our concerns or offering any form of compensation, all we received was a half-hearted apology. The excuse? "We were hit hard all at once, very sorry." That was it. No effort to make things right, no attempt to salvage the experience. but the worst was yet to come when our pizza finally arrived: it was cold. The cheese barely melted, and the crust had lost its warmth. The Italian sandwich was made incorrectly and our server who has only worked 2 days felt horrible and unsupported by the management. It's disappointing when a restaurant fails on so many levels: poor service, cold food, and a complete lack of customer care. When patrons spend their hard-earned money, they rightfully expect more than excuses. Sadly, NORTH Cherry Creek fell short of even the most basic expectations. In conclusion, based on my recent visit, I cannot recommend NORTH Cherry Creek to anyone seeking a pleasant dining experience. Until they prioritize customer satisfaction and improve their service standards, this experience was disappointing as I used to enjoy this place often.

Been coming here for probably 20 years (or whenever it first opened) and it has rarely disappointed. Don't skip the zucca chips!! Great service and ambiance.
Abysmal service at the bar for lunch today.
Zero attention from the bartender or other support staff behind the bar. Wait time to order and also for food to arrive was very slow, zero attempts to check on how my meal was going (poorly) and took over 20 minutes to get someone to close my ticket. No cream and sugar with the coffee despite asking several times. By the time I got any the coffee was already cold. Worst Bloody Mary I've ever had, bar none. Would have loved to let the bartender know so she could fix it but she couldn't be bothered to look my way despite trying to get her attention for almost the full hour I was there. Food was fine as usual, but with the service, all around disappointing to the point of making me fairly angry. Looks like my patronage at North has come to an end.

Worst experience ever! Will never go back! Had a family reservation for 12 persons, made two months in advance, was assured we would be able to sit together, explained that family was coming in from all over the US, very special night. Arrived, no table, was told we could separate or sit at a table in the bar that already had 5 people sitting at it. They would add chairs. SERIOUSLY? This is how you honor a planned reservation?

Our server Meagan delivered a perfectly paced lunch on warm, sunny Saturday afternoon at North! It is too rare these days to find that combination of excellence in food, drinks, pace and server interaction. The quality as well as variety in both food and drink options is appreciated. Overproced Froufrou Italian Eatery
My travel companion was craving Italian and he picked this place. Parking was a nightmare - we had to pay through the nose at the neighboring underground lot. Once inside, the place was wall-to-wall young (under 30) metropolitan professionals. It was incredibly noisy. The menu was very limited and for an Italian place, there were very few vegetarian options. The food was also very expensive. I wouldn't have chosen this place. I like old school hearty family-style Italian food (like my central Italian grandparents and cousins make/made). This place was very froufrou. Not my cup of tea. Dining at this place will cost you a small fortune.

3.) Finding the Reservation
* DistinguishedTree58 now uses their connections at North Italia Denver to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If DistinguishedTree58 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
