Great place for the whole family! We stopped by on a busy Saturday evening without a reservation and were accommodated with bar seating. The service was quick and friendly, and the quality of the food was excellent. We will come back again when we visit Vancouver next time
This place is small and woefully understaffed.
Sushi is meh. Lots of other sushi options available. This is not a place I'd visit again.
This is the best sushi in the area.
The place is charming and very authentic. The menu is extensive, to say the least. There's the main menu, a lunch menu, and then the walls are covered in specials. We went at a busy lunchtime and sat at the bar. The two sushi chefs were hustling. I had the 18-piece deluxe sashimi combo because that's the way to judge a place's fish. Everything was top-notch. Service was friendly, and pricing is reasonable.

Amazing! Amazing! Amazinggggg! Words can not describe the excellence of this quaint little spot! I was welcome by the host and was able to choose from 3 seats at the bar for my reservation and since I was dining solo this consideration speaks volumes of this fine establishment! I began my adventure through an ocean of fish that was chef's choice sashimi; and the selection was astounding! Not only did this have the standard salmon, tuna, hamachi one might expect from other sushi places I was also greeted by flounder, clam, and other great selections that escape my memory. Chatting up one of the locals she suggested I try Ika natto and the maguro natto; I was told that this may not be to my liking since it's usually something a person from Japan would order and much to their delight I finished both dishes! Feeling adventurous I went ahead and got tuna tataki which would've been an excellent as a starter or as a salad per se I finished with tamago and unagii nigiri as is my standard If you ever find yourself in find for sushi or wanna come to Vancouver and add to the amazing experience that it has to offer I definitely encourage you to stop by

Yum. This is across the street from our hotel and we were tired. Had the spicy tuna maki, deep fried tofu with spicy sauce, chicken teriyaki and unagi roll. All fabulous. We live in Austin so we don't really have great sushi except maybe Uchi so we were thrilled with Miko! Great service too.
Such a lovely gem in Vancouver.
If you want to feel like you're transported to Japan go here. The decor is perfect to make you feel like you're in a Japanese restaurant and the servers are so sweet. I was impressed with the color of the fish that I ordered multiple salmon rolls. Would also recommend the shiitake mushrooms sautéed in butter. Incredible taste of umami.
I can't get over how good the food here was.
But honestly the whole experience was amazing. Initially we thought we had placed reservations for Miku sushi, down by the water front, but our hotel made a mistake and made it for here instead. And honestly, I'm so happy it ended up that way. Much more low scale but super authentic. The sushi rolls were literally the best I've ever had in my entire life. The salmon and avacado roll melted in my mouth, it was unreal! And the ambiance added so much to the experience, as they play cool Japanese music and have Japanese TV on which really immerses you into the dinner/lunch (whenever you're eating). I could just rave about this place all day but honestly just go give it a try for yourself, immerse yourself into the experience and I promise you, you'll have a great time!
TLDR: This is the best sushi I've ever had.
We were in Whistler skiing and locals told us to come here over other sushi restaurants. Family owned, ask the owner lady what to eat. We saw the reviews and wondered if this was the right choice. We came in and I did find the owner lady and I told her we just wanted what she recommended. We had the most amazing meal. Wasn't too much and we ordered more. I can't tell you what all we had but they walked us through the meal and everything was simply amazing. Some sort of tuna stomach thing that was unbelievable. Also (pictured) is this seaweed with fish eggs attached that was so good. Couldn't recommend this place more.
Good normal
The average good food is much better than another one called Miku with U, we went to both, Miko acceptable but nothing spectacular

We popped in hungry for lunch and cold from walking in the rain- what a cosy spot!! We were greeted with hot tea- which hit the spot! We sat at the bar as we didn't have reservations and majority of the tables were reserved. I enjoyed sitting at the bar, we got to watch the raw dishes being prepared. I did get the sashimi sampler and edamame, the edamame must be boiled in a broth of some sort as there was tons of flavour. The fish was super fresh and delicious. My bf got the teriyakis- and they were huge portions and came with soup and rice! The service was super friendly and quick and the prices were very good for the amount of food we got!

We got the ka karaage (deep fried squid), a plate of assorted sashimi, BC and dynamite roll. Honestly, good sushi and I have no complaints! I did find the tuna sashimi was incredibly fresh. The BC roll had salmon skin and it was crispy on the end pieces but was quite soggy inside - I still enjoyed the texture. Service was great! They were quite busy on a weekday evening.
A must for sushi fans in Vancouver
This was the Vancouver restaurant that was recommended the highest number of times in a Facebook travel group and I think it may have been the best sushi I have ever had.
WE never we visit Vancouver this is one of our go to spots
WE never we visit Vancouver this is one of our go to spots for dining. We have been coming here for twenty years and the food does not disappoint. It is fantastic. The service is very good, with all staff being polite and courteous. The food is very delicious and is one of the few restaurants left in Vancouver where you can get truly authentic Japanese dishes. We will continue to support this restaurant all the time the doors are open. Please don't close or retire! Thank you so much to the Miko Sushi staff, both front and back of the house.
The sushi at this place is incredibly fresh and delicious.
Our server helped us pick the perfect sake for our meal. The space was small and the walls covered with notes and signatures from famous people who had eaten there and very few had pics, so you couldn't really tell who had written what, and frankly that made it even cooler. I will definitely be back.
ONLY MIKO SUSHI, OR NO SUSHI!
FOR THE LAST 10 YEARS, MIKO IS THE ONLY SUSHI RESTAURANT I AM GOINTO FOR LUNCH OR DINNER!!! ALLWAYS FRESH, ALLWAYS DELICIOUS, ALLWAYS FRENDLY STAFF!!! FOR THE MONEY, IT IS THE BEST SUSHI RESTAURANT IN VANCOUVER.ONL
Cozy authentic Japanese resto.
Great spot for sushi at Robson, fresh food plus authentic sushi experience. If you want a cozy place with reasonable price on Robson, forget about all other spots, just stick with Miko!
Decent sushi spot on Robson St.
I didn't make a reservation so we left our name and got called back in 25 minutes. Service was good and we got tea served right away. The food was decent but I was expecting more at the price point. I would expect 8 pieces for a specialty roll, but I only got 6 for the red dragon roll. The negitoro cone was my favorite.

A cozy and authentic feeling sushi restaurant which is hidden in plain sight next to the ever popular Ramen Danbo. They provide a great choice of modern and traditional sushi with friendly service.I have to say, out of everything we ordered the Unagi Nigiri blew it out of the park. One of the best I've had and I've had lots. It's grilled over charcoal so has much more texture and flavour than torch grilled alternatives.
Miko was a bit disappointing.
They didn't have a ton of options and it was expensive. $20 for the sushi and miso soup. It also just wasn't the best sushi. Tasted low quality and not fresh. 3 roll special came with California, BC& dynamite. I also asked for a side of eel sauce and they didn't know what that was. Service was fast, no complaints about that.
Best Japanese food I’ve had in a long time!
When I planned my first trip to Vancouver I knew I wanted to try sushi there. Trip adviser sent me here and it was delish! Just like I used to get in NYC when I was younger! Be sure to make a reservation. They are busy!
