Fantastic evening and incredible, choreographed service!
Fantastic experience from beginning to end! Our waiter, Thomas, was particularly attentive and exceptional, anticipating and attending to our group of 9. Sommelier, Erwan, made excellent recommendations and ensured we had a wonderful evening. The music, overall collaboration of their team led to a festive and memorable evening in Paris. I had been wary because of some reviews complaining of service or attitude. We found our experience was quite the opposite and the team collaborated delightfully and made us feel entirely welcome. Enjoy!
Great lively evening
Definitely book later in the evening as the atmosphere is best after 10pm. Great food, service a little slow for drinks but it was very busy. Would recommend and would visit again. There is also a club downstairs where you can go after your meal.
Brunch and boom for exceptional children!!!!
We went there for brunch with the family!!! Organization, welcome which borders on excellence as usual in this establishment! The club was open to children with a DJ, pop corn, candy pyramid 🍡, balloons and confetti throw!!!!!
Reservation cancelled TWICE for no reason
Booked a table two months ago for Saturday 23rd March for my girlfriend and I. Received an email last week to say our booking was cancelled (with no reason) and advised to book a different date. Booked another table for Friday 22nd March and got told this table was also cancelled (again, with no reason) two days before we fly. Upon reading the reviews it sounds like I'll be dodging a bullet anyway.
Matignon Restaurant in Paris is an absolute gem.

Arrogant staff
Went for a friend’s birthday dinner, we found staff weren’t overly welcoming when we arrived. When we arrived and were sat at our table the restaurant only had about 5 other tables in, a lot of the waitresses stood around chatting not doing anything, took approx 20 minutes before someone came over to take drinks order. Found the staff, especially the female staff very arrogant and rude, whether it was because we weren’t regular customers I’m unsure. When the water was poured by the waitress, it was sloshed over the table, when the table was cleared french fries fell in to a water glass, the waitress apologised and said she’d get another glass but never returned with one. Given dessert menus, before ordering dessert the hostess came over and asked if we would move to a different table, there were about 10+ tables empty in just our section alone so unsure why we were asked to move, asked for the bill instead of ordering desserts. Very unwelcoming atmosphere to the place, felt uncomfortable/judgement from staff, wouldn’t recommend to anyone to attend if they’re in Paris, much nicer places to go to. We visited Loulou and Ober mama on our other nights and they were both amazing! If you’re looking for somewhere in Paris avoid matignon!
Disappointment !
Never again ! By visiting your establishment we expect a certain level of service. The restaurant staff demonstrate professionalism and I thank them for that. However, the rudeness of your staff at reception and in the cloakroom is unacceptable. First time I have encountered such contemptuous and mediocre staff. Your employees are damaging your reputation! Very disapointed !
The dump is disgusting.
At the entrance there is a very rude black man with an American accent and does not let me and my daughter in and drives me out into the rain, although the table was reserved. You see, he didn't like my Yoshi Yamamoto outfit. The management of this eatery cowardly does not answer the phone and is afraid to come out for an explanation. Burn in hell
First off, Le Matignon is a very pretty restaurant.
It feels like a restaurant that the ladies from Sex and The City went to. It's a party restaurant with a DJ. The restaurant was very crowded like extremely crowded. They over-packed the restaurant with places to sit so much that waiters and patrons couldn't move around easily. It was very obvious they were running out of chairs because one of our guests had a different chair than us. In terms of the food, I thought the portions seemed small for the price. We had the snails as an appetizer which were a 6/10 - depending on how much you like snails. For an entree, I had the truffle pizza which could be A LOT better. All in all, I thought the restaurant was average. Nothing I think I would visit again in Paris.
They are rudes and liars
Horrible rude.stufs and one French shirt man as manager of security guys is horrible rude . If you go there and see his face you will regret to be in Paris .
The manager here was very rude on New Year's Eve.
He was not accommodating and was very snobby. Did not care about our table. We had a request and he was very rude about it, if he couldn't do the request, we understand but to be rude is not nice. This place is also expensive, but it is good to go for a late night drink. Music is loud.
Not the best night.
I feel I was racially profile by the staff at the door. Unfortunately for me I was a solo traveller and just want somewhere to have a drink. Others who had no reservations had walked in. But they kept saying there was no reservation. I sat outside for 2 hrs so I know what I am talking about. There was no way. They didn’t have space for 1 person to have a drink. They were so rude too. First time at this place, the food was average nothing special it could def be better, the service was amazing , the ambience very cool and hip. It reminded me of the Miami scene. It the latest and is trending now so it's a must go if you're in Paris.

Chic Restaurant right off Champs Elysee
Leave it to the group behind Cafe Costes to create a scene near the Champs Elysee. This is a hip, happening restuarant with excellent food that matches the quality of the cusine with the vibe. If you are looking for someplace fun, a place to see and be scene, this is for you.

Quaint little restaurant around the corner from where we stayed. It was intriguing because everyone that went in looked fabulous! Turns out there is a dress code and it turns into a night club (downstairs) so now the attire made sense! The place is full of wealthy beautiful people! But we didn't go for the club we went for dinner and it was delicious! The artichoke carpaccio was outstanding! My husband loved his lamb chops and I loved my quinoa salad... the chocolate soufflé and red wine made a perfect pairing! The service was outstanding! I'd highly recommend as an "off the beaten path" restaurant. Also a short walk to Champs De Elysee for an after dinner stroll! Ohh Lala!
Had a wonderful dinner experience.
However when it came time to go into the club they didn't let me and my husband in along with a group of female friends. They are very particular on who they will let into their club based on look, gender and body types. They require certain men to pay a minimum as well. They looked at my husband told him to leave for no reason. Very rude and disrespectful. Have never been treated so poorly before at an establishment after all the money we spent on our drinks and dinner. Beware!

Food is really good, but the service…
I haven’t been to this place for many years, so with short notice París escape, I booked the restaurant since it was the only one still available that I had on my list. The food, I can’t say anything else is the only thing worth while, truffle ravioli-delicious, tuna with sesame crust-amazing..but the service, absolute disaster I am afraid. The beautiful people hired to do their jobs, were in the beginning just standing around. Our table wasn’t cleaned once, but the rush to get us out as fast as possible, was so present. The table that they were serving us on, see the picture, shouldn’t look like this when the plates are taken away…a big no no, especially if they tell you you have to pay a tip..well a tip is earned..
Worst restaurant experience ever
This was the worst experience I’ve had for “dinner”. The door girls have the rudest attitude and need to humble themselves. No smile or welcome from 4 of them who didn’t even look at you when you came in. They were rushing around in a panic not knowing what was going on. Finally one said that because it’s Paris fashion week guests are just inviting more guests and laughed it off. I got shooed away to sit down and wait up to 10 minutes for our table. No apology. We sat down on a small table that was put with 4 other couples with no space!!! Music was good, vibe was good but just way too crowded. Halfway through our meal one of the door girls came up to us and demanded she needs the table back. I said we haven’t had two hours yet and she said “impossible”. I went to show her my booking and she refused to look saying she will check herself and surprise surprise she never returned. They tried to put us on another small cramped table later on in between other couples so we just left. It was absolute carnage at the end by reception I couldn’t see anyone who worked there. Never ever again!!!
If you are alone woman you can’t to seat at your own reserved table … waiting your guests
The desk arrival is so rude and without any polite attitude. I’m waiting alone my friends and was not possible to sit in my reserved table …not place to take a drink and the manager on the desk she said I need To waiting or go outside . others people arrived and was sit on reserved tables if their was more then two and probably because I was woman alone and for that was not possible she said at the desk …. Crazy situation …. discrimination and when I’m asking why I can’ to wait my friend on my reservation time table … she said “is the policy.. all people need to be sit at the same time together “. What is possible this ?? I said … At the end of my question … the lady put me at the end of the corner of the restaurant… because I asked some annoying questions …. One thing is sure … the lady at the desk I hope will be a long carrer like of the reputed restaurant..
The most terrible restaurant in Paris
Terrible food and service but the most terrible of all is that you eat just next to some foreign! The tables are in a row so you eat together with someone you don’t know! I have never eat in a place more bad than this one!

Rude staff and bouncers, terrible customer service. Would not recommend, there are better places to go in Paris. Save your money.
Magnificent
Cannot fault this restaurant, do not believe the bad reviews. Food 10/10, great atmosphere and lovely staff! We didn't realise that there was also a club downstairs which finished the night off perfectly. Will definitely be back when we next visit Paris.

Came to this place with a reservation all the way from Miami, FL and it was the worst experience ever. We were all dolled up and had a reservation. From the moment we arrived the gentleman who treated us at the front door was extremely rude. Not sure what the hype is. They need new employees who greet people with kindness. Horrible!!!

I was recommended this spot based on its amazing atmosphere and food. Unfortunately I had a less than unsatisfactory experience. Our waiter Denis was very dismissive and would run away from our table after finishing half a sentence. I ordered the truffle pasta and the photos online is not what I received (the photos showed a full plate and I got 4 ravioli for 38 euro). The part that made me have to write this review is what happened to my Boyfriend. He is severely allergic to nuts and I told our server Denis that. We got the cookie desert being constantly reassured there was no nuts at all. He hands us the desert and it's covered in Pecans. I show him the dish and he dismisses us and denies those are pecans. He then comes back with the dish without pecans and says "oh yea they put the nuts on at the end" admitting he lied. My boyfriend was too paranoid to touch it at the end. The least that could have been done was comp the dessert off our bill. Maybe the experience was different for others who had a different waiter but I would never go back there after that.
This is an overpriced underage sex dungeon.

* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $200.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* FamousStation67, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's bid.
* FamousStation67 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to FamousStation67 for any questions Peter may have as FamousStation67 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* FamousStation67 now uses their connections at Matignon Paris to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If FamousStation67 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, FamousStation67 receives the $200 reward which is credited to FamousStation67's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at Matignon Paris!
