What a fabulous dining experience we had last night! From the minute we walked in, greeted so warmly and welcomingly by the hostess and the manager. The night got even better from there. The whole dining room is so cozy, but we were lucky enough to snag a seat by the window. Our waiter Brian was awesome. So attentive, polite, knowledgeable and pretty funny too. Started with a couple of tasty Cosmos, followed by one of the best wedge salads I've ever had! We split the 15oz NY prime steak which comes to the table sizzling and sliced. Topped off with some bernaise sauce. For dessert a delicious chocolate cake. Highly recommend The New Sheridan Chop House......you won't be disappointed!

Service was really good Debbie was great, only issue is when we ordered we tried to order wine and apps first, Debbie said the chef needs to strategize so he needs everything I told her it was our anniversary and I didn't want the main coming right after our salad and onion soup! And lo and behold it did so much for a leisurely dinner. No less the food was Lukewarm, when you pay $90 for a steak it should be sizzling. So unfortunately a 3 it is.

We had a very special dinner at the Chop House. Marissa was a great server. Food was phenomonal, setting was perfect. Highly recommended.
Fantastic Dinner for our Anniversary!
We had a wonderful experience for our 27th anniversary dinner! The food was amazing! We had the Elk Short Loin, but the two unique food items included Deviled Eggs topped with fried oysters and a Wedge Salad with big chunks of crispy pork belly instead of crumbled bacon. So good! Good service from Ian as well. Thanks!
Amazing experience from minute one.
Staff is friendly and attentive. Multiple staff members stopped to check on us several times. Got French onion soup (needed a little salt for my taste but still amazing). Both of us got steaks with lobster, all amazing. We were too full to even eat the side dishes we got. A+++
What an excellent meal.
I took my boyfriend here for his birthday and it was a memorable occasion for sure. The staff are terrific, the food is outstanding, and the ambiance could not have been better.

Thank you to the incredible staff of New Sheridan Chop House for making our engagement dinner so special. We had an incredible time. The service was so welcoming and loving. You had all of my fiancés favorite dishes and everything was perfect! It was a night we will forever remember

Outstanding food Top flight service Inviting for a long, savor-worthy meal I had dinner with friends here, followed by an evening at the hotel and breakfast in the morning, and each detail here was just right. Even with a shoulder season abbreviated menu for May, they were still clearly playing greatest hits, and hits they all were. Appetizers, mains, sides, and desserts each felt like special treats, the wine list provided a great chance to explore, and the bar provided outstanding cocktails. Breakfast was the staples done robustly and fresh. And all was with a beautiful view of Colorado Ave's scenery outside and classic charm inside. A noteworthy gem of a spot in Telluride.

Quality of steak stands alone without adding sauces and butter which is nice to see Garlic cloves - god bless, simplicity is bliss Server is Greg from Succesion, novelty alone is kinda worth it

This is the place to go if you're looking for a simple, but a good steak dinner. Nothing too crazy or fancy here. It's a classic steakhouse with a comfy vibe. The service was great. We split a 15oz New York strip between two of us and ordered a side of trumpet mushrooms, which was too salty by itself but complimented the steak very well. We also ordered a mushroom pasta but I didn't really like it because the cheese was overpowering the whole dish. Overall, it was a very pleasant dinner.

Just made it back from my yearly pilgrimage to Telluride and of course, the Chop House. An absolute pleasure as always from getting our coats taken and stored immediately upon checking in, to recommendation on drinks and appetizers. We started with oysters and mussels (of course) and they were amazing. Also I think this is my favorite flatliner in town. It's exactly what you want in an expresso martini. I had the buffalo this time and I couldn't have expected a better cut of meat. Also tried some of my partners filet mignon and it was amazing. We added the asparagus and lobster mac n cheese and it was a perfect pairing. Can't wait to come back for the views, 5 star service and of course the amazing food.

Stopped for lunch and had a wonderful wedge salad. I was seated at a nice corner table by the front window since I was eating alone that day. It was a wonderful gesture and I enjoyed watching the activity out the window. Thanks for such a throughtful seating!
Telluride - last night dinner
Beautiful restaurant and our party of 12 basically had a private area near the wine case. I was a bit concerned when we showed up for our 8:30 reservation and the hostess told us we needed to hurry and order because the kitchen closed at 9:00. Thank goodness, she was corrected - as the restaurant doesn't seat anyone after 9:00. Whew - since they only take reservations at 5:30 and 8:30 for a party of our size. The service was excellent for our large group, and the whole team servicing our table is to be commended. We ordered wine and drinks - wonderful cocktails btw. Appetizers were quite good and plentiful - oysters were outstanding. While most of the dishes were a success, the filet, the lobster, the elk - the mac/cheese side, creamed spinach - unfortunately the bison was not. And since either 4 or 5 of the 12 ordered it - it turned what should have been a wonderful meal - last night in Telluride - into just "OK". It is pricey, but we knew that headed into the night - so no complaints there. Just stay away from the bison.
Save your steak money for somewhere else
Atmosphere was great. Service was pretty good as well. Wedge salad was excellent. But steaks were unremarkable and overpriced. My husband and I both ordered steaks medium. Mine was very red. His was close to well done. Quality was average at best, but priced like an excellent steakhouse. Definitely recommend stopping by for a look at the historic building, a drink at the bar or a salad, but don’t waste your money on a steak here.
This is not to be missed!
This was our favorite meal of the whole trip. High quality food with a great selection to cater to various diets. The service was outstanding, as were the drinks. I would return in a heartbeat!
A memorable meal!
Excellent service, excellent food, warm and welcoming ambience, the New Sheridan truly impressed! After a long hike summiting several 14ers, I descended on the Chop House like a ravenous dog. I single-handedly comsumed much of the menu, starting with a French Onion soup that could have graced the cover of a cookbook. It tasted just as good. I followed this with the Colorado Rack of Lamb, a lobster tail, and the house-made linguine carbonara. Everything was perfect. Steve and Jason took friendly and attentive care of me. The restaurant was busy but everyone seemed to work together to offer me a seamless and beautiful dining experience. Truly top tier.

What a wonderful evening. It was cold and rainy outside, but warm and cozy inside. We had a great meal and the service was excellent. I started with the wedge salad, which was very flavorful, with blue cheese crumbles and Nueske's bacon. My wife started with the gazpacho and it was wonderful. Then we each had a filet mignon, and they were cooked to perfection - very tender and flavorful. The spinach and french fries were great. We topped it off by sharing the key-lime pie which rivaled one we had had years ago at Ziggys's in the Florida Keys. Thank you for being a great part of Telluride.
We Need a Sixth Star for this Restaurant!
The dinner I enjoyed this evening at the Chophouse Restaurant at the new Sheridan Hotel was literally the finest meal I have had in a restaurant for more years than I can remember. I had the grilled Caesar salad and the halibut. These two dishes were uniquely delicious. The Grilled Caesar salad was the best I’ve ever had, bar none. Just the light touch of grill, wonderful dressing, and, wait for it, tempura fried anchovies. Who knew? The halibut was perfectly prepared with a sauce that was at once incredibly flavorful and with hard-to-pin down ingredients, which I just love, and it happens very rarely. The house is truly serving Haute Cuisine, and if seafood is that good at a steak house, imagine what their steaks are like! Our server Mohammad provided excellent and very friendly service. It’s pretty obvious that I’m pumped about The Chophouse. I can’t wait to come back again.

Wow. Loved this place the moment we walked in. Knowledgeable, friendly and attentive staff. Outstanding food; creative presentation; extensive wine selection. Hamachi Crudo not to be missed and the Elk Shortloin? Divine! We were a party of six. The oval shaped table where we were seated allowed us to enjoy conversation with everyone in our party. Fine dining but not stuffy. Great for families, couples and small groups. Highly recommend!

2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* FamousStation67, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's bid.
* FamousStation67 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to FamousStation67 for any questions Peter may have as FamousStation67 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* FamousStation67 now uses their connections at Chop House Restaurant at New Sheridan Telluride to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If FamousStation67 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, FamousStation67 receives the $200 reward which is credited to FamousStation67's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
